To the man who dries my tears...

Boyfriend,

Thank you for always being there for me and for reminding me what's important in life when my priorities are mixed up. I appreciate and cherish you and all that you do more than you'll ever know. God has blessed me with a boyfriend who is very good at being strong when I am weak! I am very proud of you, E. You are my best friend and I am so lucky to call you my own!

Forever your Goose, Girlfriend.

The Life and Times of Ethan and Grace

I look like a puppy. Ethan looks like... I do not know.

So. It is Week Four of Ten at our lovely university. I am convinced it's going quickly; Ethan is convinced it is going slower than a very slow thing. As I write, Ethan is studying Calculus next to me and I am avoiding homework. We just finished cooking chicken noodle stir fry for the fam and I am leaving in forty-five minutes for rehearsal back at the school. Yay! I thought I would have more exciting tidbits to post here. Alas, I do not. Just keepin' ya in the know. ;]

Busy bees.

Second quarter of freshman year, and we are little busy bees always buzzing around.

Ethan: studying and working his booty off to stay on top of Computer Engineer major requirements; continually owning his friends at Super Smash.
Grace: less studying and less working her booty off in favor of performing in a workshop production of the original play "Over the Mountain" at school (in which she will sing. Alone. On stage. And play very elementary guitar. Scary times); continually wondering if her nose piercing will prove futile.
Both: still very happy to have the other's company.

Boyfriend: thank you for making the world a brighter and better place.

Back at the University- I'm Lucky :D

Our wonderful, exciting break is finally over. Today, we had our first day back at the university. It sure was tough, and homework is even tougher. However, thinking about it all, I still feel so lucky.

Grace and I did not plan to go to the same college. In all honesty, is was completely coincidental. Everything was set, and I was planning on leaving for Wisconsin. However, God intervened at the last second, the day of my final visit to the university of Wisconsin. He first stopped the plane because of a mechanical error, and made us stay an extra day home. With that one day, he sent me a significant scholarship to one of my back up schools. That school became the university that Grace and I attend, and I am just so lucky. I get to go to college with my best friend and girlfriend.

Grace really does make college great. Being in engineering, my classes can be difficult and require a lot of work. However, Grace makes everything so much brighter. Seeing her after a long physics or calculus class just puts a smile on my face. I truly am very blessed.

Triple Date Night.

It's not every day that you find a pair of teenage siblings willing to spend nights with their parents, let alone with their parents and their respective SOs (Significant Others, of course). But Brother Tucker and I are this way, and it's surprisingly fun. This time, my family plus the SOs are heading to San Francisco's Fillmore to take in the lovely sounds of Streetlight Manifesto and Reel Big Fish. Excited.

New Year's Eve was quiet for us, because we were so wiped out post-Snow. We went to wish our little friend Hannah a happy birthday before returning back home to ring in the New Year with our parents, Tuck and Cass and another friend. huzzah!
