It's always interesting meeting up with a stranger to take photographs of them. Sometimes it's pleasantly surprising how easily the conversation flows.

Not actually my first job - just the first time I've had the guts to ask a student to pay me!
In addition to a wedding, I took about twenty rounds of headshots for fellow students last year but finally am confident enough to ask for some compensation.

oh goodness paid shoots always make me nervous because I am always scared they won't be satisfied. You know how people are their worst critics so they might hate their favial expressions and such. UGH! I get so nervous! I like the light on her hair in this shot that you have posted. Great job. I look froward to seeing the future paid shoots you do.
